What is the best way to teach an adult from Albania english?

A friend of mine married a man from Albania and they can communicate alittle but he has a hard time talking to anyone else. I would like any suggestions on teaching him how to speak fluent English. Or is there any audio learning devices?

an esl program may be helpful...the best way to teach english is by making it conversation/situational...i used to work with a korean firm that put its new transfers to the us through an intensive 6 week program where they learned common things like how to order in a restaurant or how to go to the mall...english is too difficult to teach any other way because of ts complex and sometimes contradictory rules...

the same way you can teach English to anyone. if he speaks a little English I think any kind of "only English" method would do. they communicate a little?!!?? and they married??? well, it's their business after all.
